Blue Planet Aquarium takes each and every one of its visitors on a fascinating tour of marine life. Seeing the magic of the deep
up close with breath taking displays among our exotic species, tropical fish and sharks, Blue Planet Aquarium takes real pride in
educating the next generation in a fun and inspiring way.
We are now looking for an enthusiastic and confident Photography Hosts to work a number of shift patterns.
Salary complies with National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage.
About the role
Dive in and take your career to new depths at the Blue Planet Aquarium. We are looking for enthusiastic and approachable
people with a passion for guest interaction to join our energetic and vibrant team on a permanent basis.
If you enjoy working within a fun environment and would like a truly unique job – this could be for you! You don’t have to be a
fish expert – however you will ideally have photography experience and a passion for photography, as well as motivation and
enjoy interacting with our guests.
The role will include working closely with our guests who have who have purchased a dive experience and wish for this truly
unique and amazing experience to be captured on camera. You will provide a memorable experience for each and every one of
our guests, interacting with the divers as well as members of their family and capturing the very special moment on camera.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain some valuable experience and it’s certainly a job with a difference!
You must be available to work at weekends and in the early evenings as this is when our dive experiences take place.
Being part of the visitor services team, you will carry front of house duties such as reception work, making sure the aquarium is
presented to the highest standards and interacting with our guests.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have experience in the field of photography, strong communication and organisation skills and the
ability to interact with our guests and ensure their visit to our aquarium is a memorable one!
The successful candidate should be reliable and a good team player. You will need plenty of enthusiasm and energy as this can
be a fast paced role!
