SCOPE AND PURPOSE
Working to the core values and operational standards of Blue Planet Aquarium, the role of Guest Experiences Team Member creates memorable guest experiences by anticipating customer needs, being engaging, attentive, knowledgeable and delighting at all times through interactive talks, tours, demonstrations, photo opportunities and education sessions.
CORE COMPETENCIES, CHARACTERISTICS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in performing arts/and or presenting to a large crowd
- Proven warm and sincere verbal communication skills
- Team player and proactively looks for ways to enhance the level of service provided to the guests
- Creative and innovative approach
- Ability to take ownership of duties and show initiative
- Ability to respond to questions from guests offering appropriate options or resolutions
- Detail oriented, strong organisational skills with the ability to handle different priorities across multiple areas
- Experience or desired interest in photography
Remuneration complies with the National Minimum Wage. Although this is a zero hour’s contract, you can expect to work regular hours during our peak times – school holidays, weekends and bank holidays.
